About the 2009 Annual Forum

BCLC, in partnership with the Province’s Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch, is proud to host the 2009 Forum “Making a Difference”.

For this full-day event, experts in the field of proactive responsible gambling have been invited to share their knowledge on a range of issues affecting BC’s gaming industry. Presentations will provide information about current responsible gambling initiatives and discuss possible enhancements and local opportunities for future programming.

The 2009 Forum provides a unique opportunity to learn and apply new tools and concepts, reflect on current programs and processes and become a part of and network with British Columbia’s Responsible Gambling community.

Forum Goals

  • To provide an opportunity for local governments, gaming service providers to discuss and learn about responsible gambling initiatives and best practices.
  • To introduce Forum participants to recent BCLC and GPED developments in responsible gambling programming and community outreach.
  • To provide an opportunity for active participation.
